They are up 29 points against Boston on the road. I am a Nets fan due to Brooklyn but I have respect for what Knicks are doing. Can they grab the 2nd seed in East? I hope they do.
Super cool. I grew up a Nets fan because we couldn’t afford MSG, only Continental, but I root for the Knicks now. Unfortunately without Randle they have no chance in a 7 game series. Brunson can’t carry this load himself for that long. Fun ride though.
I love how the ball moves now. I hate to say it, but the Knicks play smoother and much faster without JR. Next year, several guys need to be on the 2nd unit. Robinson and Randle. This year's faster 1st unit is dangerous. I can see a new trend happening as teams will try to reassemble successful college squads as much as possible to emulate the Nova Knicks. They also need to sign IHart too. Better all around big than Robinson.
Tomorrow regular season ends. Knicks host Bulls and Bucks are on the road against Orlando Magic. If Knicks win and Bucks lose, Knicks will secure the second seed. And Rangers will most likely secure the first seed. Exciting times will be in display at the Garden. And poor Brook! is a a Nets fan and Islanders fan due to family allegiances.
Can we make this the NBA playoffs thread? I was just about to make one. Celtics, finals or bust. That simple.
The Spurs missed a lotto pick because they won the final fkn game. Plus the Raptors pick they had was protected to 6 and they finished 6th. It all feels so Jetsy.
I didn't follow the Spurs, but I'm pretty sure around the first quarter or third of the NBA season they were a bottom three team. The fact they made it out of the lottery, with maybe one or two pieces outside Wemby is kind of impressive. Plus, this draft sucks. Worst I can remember in a while. It's being compared to the 2020 draft, which the best players include Kenyon Martin and Michael Redd.
They were a basement team all the way through, but Wemby looked like an All Star the whole time. Can't help winning those games I guess, they won 5 of their last 10. The NBA draft is almost a non- event at this point, half the picks end up having a career with the G League.
Looks like the Spurs have the 5th worse record, if they still have their pick they are still in the lottery... Just less chance of getting the top pick. Top 12 used to be considered lottery, not sure if that has changed because of the extra teams in the playoffs.
He's renewed my Knicks fandom... after years of ineptitude and ownership even worse than Woody, i really lost interest. But the Knicks finally have a likeable group and are fun to watch (never really liked Randle). Let's hope they keep rolling. Brunson's all heart... as well as Josh Hart
5 actually and 22 consecutive playoff appearances. Although we could probably from a team of TGGers and make the NBA playoffs at this point.
I've become a big Josh Hart fan! The guy takes over the game without taking over the game. All the little stuff you have to do to turn a game around, Hart does it with style.
