I thought the funiest part was that nobody on the TV crew picked up on the fact that Namath's line wasn't going through. Not even after a commercial break! And there's Buttle telling us afterwards how if he'd "said that in the locker room, he would have added a whole bunch of expletives." Said what, exactly? We'll never know, I guess. I wonder if someone on the tech crew hates the announcers?
I dont know you well enough, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're being sarcastic. As for myself, I'm watching it on SDTV and I didn't get any Namath audio either.

Yeah that's where I went too. I think what he probably said was "I'm pumped that the Jets have a QB that might take us deep in the playoffs." Then you can just add the f-bomb about 5 times during that sentence and you get Buttle's take on it.
