i am sick and tired of this team. There is just no dominating aspect to anything new york jets football. We've never done anything neccessarily well and even back to the "glory days" of 1998, 2002, 2004, this team was finesse, passive, and down right girly!!! When was the last time you saw the new york jets impose their will on an opponent. When was the last time we saw a quarterback connect on a deep ball. When was the last time the jets had one of those 3 play, 78 yard explosive drives finished with a spectacular diving catch in the end zone. I know it happens, i watch sportcenter every sunday night and see a bunch of the athletes and qbs making amazing plays and throws the resemble the closest thing to human art. Us?? Were regulated to watching this dink and dunk offense struggle to move the ball up and down the field. We have ZERO ZERO ZERo big play ability and the offense is entirably to predictable. 4 yard pass on first, 3 yard run on second, incomplete 5 yard pass on third. THis is football in the 21st century!!! A game where the ball is supposed to rip through the air molecules and find itself between the grasp of an awaiting reciever 15 yards down the field. Offensive lines should open holes so that runners can pick up chunks of yards. Offensive lines dont open up holes large enough for mickey mouse to crawl through... What in the world is up with this football team. And i mean going back to as long as ive been watching, 1996.. Why cant the jets ever get dominating in any aspect??? Why do our 300 lb'ers look so fricken small compared to guys in other uniforms who weigh the same. Why do our speedsters look like their feet are nailed to the ground. Why cant our q.b ever air it out down field and luckily, just once, lay it out there for a reciever to make a play... Sundays are getting awfully boring, this team is frustratingly bad and the most alarmingly unexplosive team in football. I cant figure out what it is about the jets that makes them bad. Its prob coaching, its prob personnel, its almost certainly the quarterback... Whatever the hell it is this team needs a makeover. Im seriously strarting to think that the green on white are cursed with a hex that forces them to play ugly football. Put devin hester on the jets, i bet you he forgets how to run fast. Sam adams? watch the man miraculously shrink. Brett favre, chad would have a cannon compared to this guy... I've had enough with the green and white. Im tired of the shitttty looking meadowlands. Scrap it all!! change the colors, wear some black, change the slow flat footed black shoes... put on some visors!!! draft a linebacker bigger than the opposing running back... Why is sean ellis so damn small for a defensive end... What the hell is bryan thomas doing??? is victor hobson as mobile as diesel truck??? scrap it all and start from scratch.. this team has about 5 players worth keeping. the rest??? over rated, sloppy ,slow and undersized players who are good at playing dumb, ugly, unimaginative football
He has a valid point in the first few lines. There's no mean streak in the team. No guys who live to hit the opposition as hard as they can. The old school raiders defense were crazy, and they dominated. Finesse can only get you so far. Get some powerful, psychotic defensive linemen.
i long for an oline that can say "hey assholes, were coming right at you" instead we get a 100 shifts and then run a fucking draw or a stretch run. i got very frustrated today.
