Do you guys understand what a thief Tanny is? We moved from #17 to #5, we get our man in Sanchez, and we give up a 2nd rounder, Coleman, Abram, and Ratliff only. What a steal. Those 3 players are garbage. I don't care what you guys say about Ratlif, he wasn't drafted for a reason, and he hasn't played a game yet. All we really gave up was a 2nd rounder. Wow, I am still in shock. I thought we would of had to give up so many more picks. Amazing. Word has it that Mr. T also tried to trade into the 1st round again to get Harvin, but couldn't.

Just saw where Denver moved up in the 2nd round with Seattle and gave up NEXT YEAR'S #1st round pick. LOL. We didn't give up anything that significant. We robbed Mangini blind.

Proud day to be a Jets fan. I am tired of all the negativity. Go Jets!

Some people on this site fail to realize that.. I wanted crabtree or sanchez, we made the move all the way up..

These other teams are moving up a few spots in the 2nd round and giving up 1st rounders next year

Whether you like Sanchez or not, it was incredible value to move up that far.

Ratliff could turn out to be a good QB...and this still would have been the right move if we were uncertain about him and Clemens. We grab the guy we want and really only give up a 2nd? That's huge. Shows how we feel, we kept the guy who will likely be starting next season. There were no WRs worth our spot in the 2nd, really. The only drawback is the hole at DE.

Having time to think about it more Harvin would have been a great pick for us if we didnt trade to get Sanchez. Yes we have a similar player in Leon already but Harvin is RIDICULOUSLY talented and when you have talent there is always a spot on the field, especially with all the new formations out there.
No he wouldnt have been a true WR or a true RB, but just being a pure football player who can play, harvin is the best player in that regard.

We gave up 2 starters and our first and our second for a QB that should not be the 5th overall pick in any draft ever, and you're calling that value? That was a HORRENDOUS trade. Now I'm not saying he's a bust, because I think he can become a good QB, but this team has a lot of holes. They are not one player away from a Super Bowl, and especially not now that they just traded two starters away.
