Besides Johnathan Joseph, he's the other name that has been speculated about in several articles [ back around draft time]. Where as Joseph is at the tail end of his career, and would be a stopgap. Claiborne still has interesting upside but things simply never clicked for Claiborne, who does well in press man but has been forced to play alot of zone due to the Cowboys scheme. I think he could do alot better with a change of scenery with a better scheme fit. Kyle Wilson has struggled to turn his goddamn head around his entire career, and I think he would do alot better in a zone heavy scheme where his head is already turned. I have always thought that Wilson +4th round pick for Clairborne + 5th round pick would be a reasonably fair trade and would do both corners alot of good, they were drafted high and put into schemes not conducive to their success. That being said, Wilson had the luxury of learning from Revis for 3-4 seasons, and seemed to have learned nothing. I recognize such a trade is far less likely this late in the offseason, but it's a thought. In all likely hood we will just be waiting until Saturday to scour through other peoples trash heaps to find a corner.
I'd be in favor of trading for Claiborne, but I really don't see Jerry making that trade. He's all about hype trades, this would be a trade admitting a first round draft pick was wasted. Jerrah doesn't like to look bad.
Jerry is arguably the league's best PR guy, he would just spin it has swapping one first round pick for another, and point out that he moved up in the draft having swapped his 5th round pick for a 4th rounder. At this point, I am nearly certain that both respective fanbases pretty much never want to see either guy again.

In all seriousness, I can guide you to a firmer grasp of the English language. If you want some help, then hit me up.
The reason I say this is because look how many SB wins JJ got to Woody. People can say whatever they want about JJ he does have 3 Super Bowls wins.
Sometimes I don't understand the memes that get tossed around. Since 2000 Jerry Jones has led the Cowboys to 4 playoff births and they have won a single playoff game in that time. They've had a franchise QB for the last 8 years and in that time they have made the playoffs 3 times and won that single game. They haven't made the playoffs 4 years running now despite having Tony Romo at QB. Since 2000 Woody Johnson has led the Jets to 6 playoff births and they have won 6 playoff games. They have done this despite having the best team in football in their division over that span. They have done this despite only having a franchise QB for 4 of the seasons and having him repeatedly injured and knocking them off course in the process. They haven't made the playoffs 3 years running now in large part because they've gotten unlucky at the QB position. In fact the Jets have been unlucky at the QB position every season since 2000 except in 2002 and 2006. They've either had a guy under performing or hurt in every season since then. Even Favre was hurt at the end, which was a big factor in the Jet's collapse in 2008. There's just no comparison between the two guys in terms of competitive results. Woody Johnson is a much better owner than Jerry Jones in terms of getting things done and competing. If you want to argue marketing, well that's a different story entirely but I only care about winning games and Woody has been the best Jets owner since Sonny Werblin in terms of managing that task, both in the regular season and in the playoffs.
You wouldn't trade all that for JJ Super Bowls? To say Woody the best owner since Werblin isn't say much. Hell there only 2 coaches in Jets history with winning records.
Get the fuck outta here. Have you seen what Jerry has done as of late? Jimmy Johnson's drafting and his teams got the Cowboys their SBs - I don't think Jones deserves as much credit as you think.
What the fuck has the Jets done as late? When was last time they won a SB? No those where Jerry Jones drafts he was the GM.
Between one of their CB's being out for the first 4 games (name escapes me) and how much he makes, i don't think this happens.
What the fuck have the Jets done lately? When was the last time they won a Super Bowl? No, those were Jerry Jones drafts. He was the general manager.
