I thought about starting this myself after your Leon comment in the Brick-Thread.

As i said, to me it´s clearly Jenkins. He´s as valuable to this Defense as aynone can be.

Without Jenkins in the middle, this team is 2-5.

It's gotta be either Washington or Jenkins.

All around, Washington's contributed the most. Several big offensive plays, often breaking our offense out of monotonous slumps. He's consistently given our offense good field position, returning punts and kickoffs, and has killed the other team's momentum time and time again with big kick returns.

Jenkins is the reason our D is so much better against the run. Pace has been incredible, but it's doubtful that he, or Thomas or Barton, or Ellis, would be enjoying their success without Jenkins clogging the middle.

I gave it to Leon, but either one would be deserving.

Your comment is what made me create this thread. I agree that Jenkins is extremely valuable to this team and to me it's a toss up between the two. Because Leon contributes so much on special teams as well as offense I give him a slight edge.

I can't really argue with the Jenkins selection though.

It's between Jenkins and Washington. I give a slight edge to Washington, but have no problem with those picking Jenkins.

Jenkins, by far. He has the most thankless job in the NFL as a 3-4 NT. He doesn't get the stats or the exposure because his position limits them but he plays it well and he's the reason we're 4-3 right now. Without him, we barely beat the Cardinals and we don't stand a chance against Miami. Jenkins keeps us in games more than Favre does.

    MVP = Most Valuable Player!

i think jenkins is the easy choice. he has single handidly turned the defense from horrid against the run, to one of the best in the league. when watching the games live i do not notice many defensive substitutions. i cant tell unless an announcer states it that certain players have left the game, and someone else has replaced them. when jenkins goes out of the game it is the first thing i notice, all of a sudden the offensive line of the opposing team seems to be getting a good push against the defensive line. pretty much what im trying to say is the defensive looks like night and day when jenkins is in or out. i dont think any other player on the team has had that kind of impact so far.

Anyone who doesn't think it's Jenkins is wrong.

    I cannot argue against Jenkins.

But I think Pace should be up there, as well.

Clearly Jenkins. The only way we get anything done is when hes on the field. The only other player youd be able to argue would be Revis who has also been superb. I dont understand any leon votes. Besides last game, he has been pretty mediocre. Not to mention, hes probably the reason we lost to the raiders.

Same here, only I voted for Jenkins, but have no problem with anyone picking Leon, because he was my next choice.

Has to be Jenkins - He has helped Anchor our Defense into the Top 5 (i believe we are #3?) against the Rush so far this season! Teams ahead of us are Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

It seems to me that a vote for Washington is a vote against the coaching staff, so I should have voted for LW. If the coaching staff's head wasn't firmly stuffed up their posterior, they would be getting the ball to LW more so he could do something with it or prove he isn't our best offensive player.

Who cares who the MVP is, let's go beat Buffalo. It's Kris Jenkins, anyway. We're top 5 in rushing D, we were at the bottom last year. He is the difference.

It's usually not this easy to pick an MVP, but IMO Jenkins is the obvious choice. Maybe Leon would have contributed more if he played more, but we don't know that. In terms of actual contributions on the field I don't think anyone comes close to Jenkins.

Jenkins has been absolutely huge for this team but the real MVP is Leon.

If Leon is the MVP why does he get so few touches?
