Rapoport reporting that Michael Thomas would like to be traded from the Saints. Sounds like there would be multiple sticking points in a deal getting done (he’s likely to start the season in the PUP list, 8M in dead cap in 2021, 22M in dead cap in 2022, etc.) but it sounds possible. What say you TGG faithful? Would you want to trade for him? If so, how much would you be willing to offer?
Not interested. We're not close to making the playoffs, let alone a SB, and we already have a lot of talent in the receiving corps that we need to check out. Save the money for other needs.
No thanks. For the first time in a long time, we have a ton of depth at WR. And as mentioned, we're not a player away from contending for the Super Bowl.
There's been some weird shit going on with him anyways down there. His mishandled injury situation and rules violations and a whole bunch of other stuff. Not to mention all his social media beefs. Dude might be entering his receiver graveyard soon too.
Not this year, we have a lot of young guys with high ceilings and very good veterans. It's a pretty stacked position.
