pelfrey vs giese ponson vs pedro pettitte vs johan rasner vs perez this is an interesting series, w/your classic day night two stadium double header kicking it off, if one of these teams takes 3 out of 4 or sweeps, it can realy jumpstart there season, the yankees have been playing much better of late, and the mets, well were just hovering around .500
Pettitte - Johan should be a great game. Hopefully the Yankees smack Johan around to show the doubters that the non-trade was in fact a good move
i think johan is gonna show the yankees that they should of went after him, johan's last two starts not great, although he only gave up 1 earned his last time out, johan could easily be 10-3, and yes the pettitte johan matchup should be a good one

I honestly don't see either team sweeping, but I'll probably sign up for the Yanks taking 3 of 4 from us, and splitting if the good Perez shows up. I hope I'm wrong. I feel like game 2 is going to be a fireworks show. Ponson's got way too high of a BAA to sport a 3.88 ERA for much longer (and his overall career numbers support this) and Pedro's been almost as bad as the Hyde version of Perez since he's been back.
