As the thought of taking to myself in individual game threads depresses me, I thought we should save the pain and have a Regular Season thread.

There are only a few of us hardened , suicidal Mets fans on here at moment so lets roll

Anyway good win last night in the monsoon, its a pitching match up for the ages tonight ....Gee vs Hernanadez!!!

Is it me or is Pagan now milking this stint on the DL. It is taking forever to get back from what I thought they said was a minor oblique injury. I guess it's his turn to sit back and get paid for doing nothing when he is suposed to be in center field for the Mets! Like I said they should have traded him in the winter for prospects.

Why are you "suicidal"? They are playing pretty good ball lately.

just a bit of gallows humour

Everyone knows how much i am pleased with the effort being shown and the results but with these fucking shit owners we know we have no real chance of competing for the big one in the next 3-4 yrs.

Am I the only one who think it would be hilarious if Dylan Gee got the Mets first No-hitter?

No no-hitter, but another well-pitched game. Mets are 16-9 in their last 25 games (with many of their best players out with injuries), but you still hear people saying how they're the worst team in baseball.

I for one like the series threads. haven't participated in the baseball forum much in the past but have been doing so lately. Even if there are only a few of us die-hard Mets fans, so be it. We know who the true fans are...

Turner has showed he can play at the major league level. I hope it is not a flash in the pan. He can play a bunch of positions and it would be nice to see him get regular playing time at 2nd if he continues to hit this way.

And i am happy that the rest of the league thinks we are crap. The team plays much better with a chip on their shoulder.

Another good solid win, for the first time in a long time I can honestly say i am proud of this team...the players are being let down by the owners not the other way round which is a major step change.

When we win the pennant in years to come we can recall the mighty 5 or 6 of us who stayed TGG true to our Mets!!

This thread is pathetic. Suck it up, Mets fans. Don't give up on your normal way of tracking your team just because they stink.

For a guy that claims to be a Yankees fan, you spend an awful lot of time in these Mets threads.

Bizarre decision to load bases for me which gave Beato absolutely no room for error.

Oh and Pelfrey is a fucking abortion this year

Dickey fails to cover first on a ground ball to second and then apparently messes up his left hip/leg/ankle when he tries to start running to first. Beato is coming in.
