  1. Just thought I'd take the time to create the new metal thread.

    Death Metal is good.

  4. Never got into that much musically, but I saw them live about 8 years back(at the first ever now famous NE metal/core fest) and Imust say they are worth seeing by anyone who enjoys underground and heavy music.

Going to see In Flames on Saturday  Hows their new album, anyone have it? Trivium and Devildriver will be there too, and some band Ive never heard of called Zao will play too. Hopefully its a good show

I think all the metal talk should henceforth be confined to this thread and this thread only. Never let it die

EDIT: looking back on this post, I used way too many fruity ass beer smilies in it

Zao is okay, but totally unimaginative. But they're probably better than any of the only bands you just listed.

  11. zao's too christian and hardcore for my blood.

I thought Napalm Death broke up a while ago.

    Shows how much I know.

  16. He did some work w/ Iced Earth and was also on the death "Sounds of perserverance" album. I saw him at a death metal show about 6 months back. He was decked out in an old school Death shirt, had a beer in his hand and was headbanging wildly to krisiun and Incantation. It was pretty cool. He's also a great drummer.
