We're playing a meaningful game in October! The season will last past Columbus Day!! Been a long time boyz since we could say that. I'm hoping the Jets play loose at MetLife. Seems they put too much pressure on themselves trying to win over the home crowd. Hopefully LeFleur doesn't get too cute OR too conservative with useless gut runs on every first down. Not to put too fine a point on this game, but if the Jets come out and win? All the noise goes away and backfilled with respect. If they shyt the bed? Last week's comeback win will look like another 1-off.. I'm looking and hoping for a great showing by a Jets team playing loose, bringing the energy and leaving the STUPIDITY on the practice field! Go Jets! Filet the Phish!!
I hope the stadium is loud. When we have a winning team, the crowd can be a huge asset. But for the last several years it's like a Joni Mitchell concert in there.
For the team to continue to win they 1) need to play better all game and 2) be consistent in execution in all phases of the game all game - is that redundent? Unless that happens we will continue to ride the rollercoster,,, but Cman, I am enjoing it at least the untill Sunday 1pm.
If we lose I'll still be optimistic because 2-3 is way better than the last several seasons. As long as were close to .500 I'll have hope.
Not being eliminated before another shitty Halloween movie hits theaters has been my only wish as of late. We’ve made it.
Same I mentioned previously in another post awhile back that as long as the Jets are competitive, especially with our difficult schedule. I would look at it as progress. With that said, I'm enjoying the ride so far and being .500 after a month is pretty sweet.
I'm liking this game. A division game, at home, looks like great weather, & it's the fins. I'd say the biggest game in years. My one concern is the Vets. The younguns have been playing like Vets, but the Vets not so much. If the Vets can limit mistakes, & the CS let's the players loose, I like our chances, & will be disappointed with a loss. I don't know why I feel this way, but I'm sensing something ripened in that 4th qtr, last week.
Nothing in team sports, like watching a young team grow & ripen together. Here's to Zach staying healthy... & a solid game from our safeties.
The Jets up until this year were a schizophrenic bunch. Great occasionally, not so great the next. Yes they were young and inexperienced along with the coaching staff but it seems they grew up quite a bit this year spotlighted by last week's comeback win. I'm really hoping the 4th qtr. Jets from last week show up in the 1st qtr tomorrow.
