 Because everybody knows that younger always = better.

I voted Mangold, mainly for salary cap reasons. It was time for Mawae to go.

I chose Mangold because Mawae is no longer on the team, correct?

But maybe we get Mawae back, and then we start him at center, is that what you're saying? We need to trade for Mawae?

Yes! Get Kevin Mawae back and then we have the option!

In that case, I vote for Mangold!

Take a look at the tape of Mawae last year before he got hurt. The guy was toast last year. No brainer Mangold may have been our best draft pick.

Currently, I'd take Mawae, but in the long run I'd rather have Mangold...duh.

You are SO right on this, Winston. In fact, I can say you've never been "righter."

Mawae did so much for this team in his prime, he really did, but he's been owned in the last several years and the rest of the line (Fabini, for example) have only illuminated and contributed to this.

With help, could Kevin have still significantly contibuted?

Of course he could have, but he had no help. And so, the desintegration of the O-line as we know it, and the inevitable exposure of this entire debacle one year ago at the infamous battle of the Little Big Horn at Arrowhead Stadium against the Chiefs was the final blow. What an embarrassment. Chad running for his life, fumbling balls... precariously trying to recover... hand-offs to nowhere... I don't even want to ever watch the film.

We are so better off with Mangold it doesn't even compare. But the biggest improvement at this position isn't the guy at this position at all... it's the guys all around this position.
