People were on top of it when a bench player (Kaepernick) kneeled during the national anthem. He didn't make a big deal out of it until the media wouldn't leave him alone. Now, Marshawn Lynch sat on the bench for the national anthem. Why are fans not up in arms about this? Where are all those posters who said they'd protest the NFL (And then proceeded to watch every game anyway) claiming they are going to protest again? Is it simply because he's a star player?
Like cancer, bad attitudes like Kapernick are spreading Another terrible demonstration for what end.....??? Please somebody who is African American on this board help me out here There are racists in this country .yes...nuts who kill people counterprotesting White Supremicists I have no problem with people per say Just Their Attitudes!!! White or Black Lynch like any player in the NFL should be respectful....for God sakes we have 323 million souls in US and most people tolerate each other here This man is a gifted player..you can express your sentiment but find another way to combat the Obama backlash This is all getting ugly...people need to show some love for each other JMHO
I posted in the Sherman thread how dozens of players protested last year and no one blinked an eye. The best thing about Lynch not standing was Delivered Rios statement that it wasn't a protest, Lynch has never stood for the National Anthem. Of course Twitter is blowing up with pics of Lynch standing for the Anthem.
Yeah, everyone here was so up in arms and outraged about Kaep that no one even started a thread about it. Why not put the posts here of people that claimed they would "protest the NFL"? There may have been one or two posters who said that but I can't remember any.
What is there to say about guys that are wearing their IQ on the uniforms. They should move to Venezuela.
He's exercising his rights, as far as I am concerned, he's not hurting anyone. There are far more pressing things to be concerned about.
This could be why people are not up in arms, "Lynch said, 'This is something I've done for 11 years. It's not a form of anything other than me being myself.'
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...d-me-he-never-stands-for-the-national-anthem/ Sure he said it, but there's just a couple examples of him standing for it. There are more going around Twitter.
I don't really care, and he has every right to do it, but I love how Black lives matter has the support of two of the dumbest athletes in the NFL. Well, there are probably dumber, but Kaepernick literally had no idea what he was doing, and I'm not expecting Lynch to eloquently articulate his cause either. Black Lives Matter, just like feminism, is funded by the rich elite zionists and they are laughing at all of us as they use it for their own advantage. Divide and conquer.
Why? They have the right to voice their opinions. It's still a free country in spite of Trump and those of his ilk.
Lol, was anything I said far fetched? Look it up, George Soros funds the majority of Black Lives Matter. Why would some FILTHY rich Jew give two shits about black lives matter?
Figures that is what you would take out of it while avoiding the fact he said this, "It's not a form of anything other than me being myself". He also never said he does it every time, if I say I have been going to football games for 50 years it does not mean I never missed a game. Kaep made it a protest, Lynch just sat down. Oh, and key point, Lynch still has value to a team.
