I remember a bunch of clueless Jamal Adams pundits would harp all over the fact that #33 "lacked INT's" (despite being a 2x Pro Bowler and 2x All Pro) etc. But yet Marcus Maye the supposed to be "ball hawk" has a whopping 0 INTs throughout 5 games? And the same Adams pundits/critics are silent as a lamb about Maye and his amazing 0 INTERCEPTIONS? Crickets? Funny. Maccagnan screwed up taking Maye over my FSU kid Dalvin Cook and Jet fans were clueless for attacking Adams for INTs while being perfectly fine with Maye having a whopping 0 throughout 5 games. Sorry. But some of you #33 critics wanted to run the wrong Safety out of town. Adams should still be here. Marcus May needs to go. 0 ints? 5 games? Where is the outrage? Lol
While I agree with DWC, I love Adams as a player and was a big supporter of his, it is time to give it up. He is gone and he is not coming back, this team is a shitshow but trading Adams was not about this year. We don’t need a thread every 15 minutes to tell how much better the D was with Adams.

Yes. JD is what's wrong. He took our two best players in Robby and Adams and through them away because they were Macc's guys and his off-season has absolutely stunk. Becton doesn't change crap. JD needs to go.
Interceptions are a byproduct of a good pass rush putting pressure on the QB, Jets can’t get to the QB even with a blitz. Maye is not a scrub, no secondary can cover forever and that’s what the opposing qbs have, plenty of time to go through their reads and make plays. Adams didn’t have interceptions because he was at the LOS on most of his plays.

You may be right, but having Adams or Anderson still wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the season. As bad as this feels....it was going to happen.
Adams did make this defense way better against all the bottom 10 offenses we faced last year. He's making the awful Seahawks defense way better this year too with their league history worst pass defense through 4 weeks.
1) Marcus Maye is a second rounder and has been doing his job good or bad. 2) Maye never anointed himself a savior and team leader. 3) Marcus Maye never went to media and cried for more money. 4) Marcus Maye is a football player and not a diva like Adams. I can go on and on. Now, I am already pissed and can't take your drama. If you continue your schtick I will ban you and kick your ass all the way to Seattle. Shut up already!
