With Coleman struggling last game I was wondering, where was "the closer"? With Wilson now seeing more time, I dont understand why he is the 5th CB when he has looked so good in limited action
Playing near the sidelines he's a liability... but when he's playing in the middle of our D I think he's a fucking beast. I can't understand why he is being costantly over-looked...
i remember someone here stated on another thread that when lowery gave up his post to wilson.... the coaching staff was not really feeling that... Plus he is like being tested at safety.
“Dwight is the one who said Kyle ought to be starting. That was interesting,” Ryan said. “It surprised us. He never told me, he told Dennis [Thurman, DBs coach]. Yes, it surprises me. But he sees that [Wilson] needs the work, he needs the reps. Lowery does so much for us. He’s been learning safety, nickel, dime, “x,” corner. He’s doing all that. He’s going to play like a starter anyway. This was when Revis was holding out but he's still barely seeing the field these days
That wasn't all Rex said. Rex also said how great it was and that Lowery did it because he thinks of "team" first.
I'd rather see Lowery on the field before Coleman. He practically has two years of starting experience.
Lowery def deserves more time just for the fact he had 2 game ending plays. He is not a top pick so the pressure to play him is not as much as a K. Wilson, or V. Gholston. Lowery is def not great but a serviceable cb and in my opinion better suited for safety. Prob needs to hit harder but is a decent tackler for a cb as it is.
The fuck was that one doing in there? Not giving a shit about wether or not you play doesn't count as being a team guy.
