I think he has done a really good job. http://www.newyorkjets.com/photos-a...he-draft/07942562-4df2-4cc9-8000-46e2a581f09b last paragraph.
http://m.newyorkjets.com/s/5989/140?itemPos=2 sorry. Don't know why that did that. Clinkscales wasn’t called on much at this newser until the end, when the Jets’ vice president of college scouting was asked if, now that the draft is over, he can clear up those rumors about him leaving for the Oakland Raiders to work under new GM Reggie McKenzie, his former Tennessee Vols teammate back in the Eighties.“I expect to be here,” Clinkscales said. “My job is talent evaluator. I understand where the connection comes in. Reggie and I played high school ball and college ball together. I’ve known Reggie forever. But this is where I started and this is where I intend on being.”
Smart move on his part. He plays his cards right he replaces Bradway in the next few years. He's just like Bradway wherein he's a good scout & good personnel guy..but he doesn't appear to have the "Big picture/financial/risk management" aspect to his resume. He also isn't the best public speaker. Play his cards right & he'll be the senior personnel executive. Pretty cushy position & title.

You are joking right with your 5 I am sure the 31 other teams in the NFL considers none of them to be impact players like maybe Manning, Manning, or Brady or Rogers yada, yada, yada
those are elite players you're listing in your post. They don't grow on trees. You should probably taper your expectations a little. The players I listed certainly make an impact on the field for the Jets.
Whose whining? I just have a completely different opinion of Mr. Joey then U do it appears. 10 years from now when we have still won NOTHING I wonder what U will then think of Mr. Joey skills
Mr.Joey doesn't take any snaps, run routes, rush the passer, or cover receivers. So, forgive me if i don't lay the complete blame for the Jets' misfortunes on our Director of Scouting.
Ah now U reached the meat & potatoes but Mr. Joey job is to find just those players you mentioned
Correct, but it's not Mr.Joey's job to coach up the players and put them in a place where they will succeed on a game-by-game basis. I understand your frustration. I just read your sig, and enjoyed a good laugh over it. I'm assuming you were around for Super Bowl III. If so, at least you witnessed a Jets superbowl win. If anybody should be bitter, it's fans like myself who are still waiting. Luckily, I haven't run out of patience yet.
