If we were to trade for Cutler

    Cotchery
    Stuckey
    Clowney
Britt (I think we may have to trade up in the 2nd to get him but it's possible)

If we keep our 1st round pick
    Cotchery
    Nicks
    Stuckey
    Clowney

I think we will probably trade for a wideout if cap space permits. Some second-tier JAG. Or draft one in the second. But I agree, I think it's a lock that we draft defense in round 1.

I don't think we will either...personally I don't think he's going anywhere, but to say it's not possible is silly.

According to thejetsblog.com the official position of the Jets organization is that they aren't interested in Cutler.

I feel like WR/QB are the biggest needs of the 2009 Jets.

I say Britt because I think with Cassel going to KC we have a shot at getting Sanchez in the 1st round and Britt in the 2nd round. To be clear I still think that even if we get Sanchez that Ratliff is our guy right now, let Sanchez ride the pine.

This. As good as we it would be to get Britt/Maclin/Nicks et al..we need a good DT/DE that can start.

    1 Nicks/Britt
    2 Cotchery
    3 Clowney
    4 Stuckey
    5 Henry
    6 Smith

Not counting Wright as a reciever because i think he's just a special team player!
We might trade Smith for a low round pick (6)
I don't care who we take between Nicks and Britt, they are both solid players.
IF we get a 6 for Smith i would love Jarrett Dillard as a player to develop.

PS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT RECIVERS HERE, NOT CUTLER... if you want to talk about that trade take it in one of the 1'000 threads that talk about him... thank you :)

as Cartman would say: respect my autoritahhh!

People mention Cutler because any trade involving him, takes out 1st round pick away, at minimum. So it changes who we can draft at WR.

    Thanks for playing.

Fuck drafting a wide receiver. Heaven forbid a half dozen balls should go to Leon and a dozen to Dustin Keller per game.
