linebackers

    anyone but me notice that the lb's don't attack the gaps and wait to take on blocks? this is why they are missing tackles. By the time they react they are already blocked.

    3rd and 25 and Buff gains 22 yards on a WR screen. This defense is sitting back on their heels. No aggressiveness whatsoever.

    our d-line is not keeping offense linemen off of the linebackers

    I have to agree with this statement as being the main reason why our linebackers are ineffective this season. Yes, they are taking on blockers too much, but in a 3-4 there shouldn't be many blockers to take on, the d-lineman have hold onto them better.

    I will not disagree with the above statements. still the lb's are not attacking. this does not take the heat off of the d-line. I'm still seeing d-rob get his ass kicked.
