Its early I know but I gota get the bad taste out of my mouth after sundays game. Everytime i see Bellichick i just want to hit him with a scalding hot frying pan straight in his face. I want your thoughts on what we have to do to beat these suckers.

Our Damn good wide recievers vs their young secondary. Thats the matchup we must win. Their D is playing very good right now. we have to win the battle up front ,and stop the run. They are scared to let Losman throw it. 83 yards a game! Score early produce points when you are in enemy terriory, hit your field goals nuge. Lets get out of there with a win. Comments.

1 - Stop Mcgahee -- he has killed us b4 and our run stopping is not to great at this time
2 - Losman is no Brady he does not scare us but pressure needs to be there unlike yesterday -- not to sure of the Bills O-Line and how he is protected
3- I doubt our running game is going to improve in the next week so there also is a big problem
4- I think the Bills are overrated at this point in the season
in other words I do not belive they are for real --
5- Chad is back but more protection is needed

    I see us winning

Our protection of chad is very important vs their D line D'Brick should shut down his side along with jones at left guard if kendall cant go, but clement is the one that scares me.

we just need to stop their running game and passing game wont be problem since Bills dont let Lossman throw more than 15 times a game, that should be a huge advantage, but our running game blows, but they need to step it up w/ barlow getting more carries, and Chad will have a field day against the safeties granted mangold n ferguson hold up against a good D-line of the bills, hell they did pretty good job protecting Chad against hte Pats, only gave up like 2 sacks, so it should be a good match up, Lets go JETS!

nothing big but some simple keys

1.WR's must continue playing the way they do. Especially since BUF can get after the QB, shorter passes might have to be used and we will be relying on our recievers YAC

2.Shut down McGahee, he has a tendency to run wild on us.

    3.WIN THE TURNOVER BATTLE!!!!

    4.MORE DL ROTATION.

Watching yesterdays Bills game I saw the Bills had below average run D, but fantastic pass D...They have NO offense, and if the Jets can slow Willis, they will win...6-3.

Somehow, the Jets need to find a run game...and fast.

were you watching the same JETS/PATS game as me? the o-line did a good time protecting chad? i disagree whole heartedly. i'm not sure the exact # of sacks, but chad took a beating during most of the game. he got hit a lot.

ya, but o-line gave him enuff time to rally a comeback, but we fell short, so ya o-line isnt as bad as people think it is even with 2 rookies

Next week's game against the Bill is a must win, we play Indy and then the Jags after the Bills. If we lose I can imagine us at 1-4 after week 5.

We must not get run over again.
    Stop McGahee.
Avoid that many 3rd downs. (How many times did the Jets get a first down on 1st and 3nd downs?)
    No Turnovers.
Let Barlow get most of the carries.
    Not too many penalties.
    Move the ball.
Don't get down early or it will be tough to come back.

From what I've seen of the Bills these year, I don't think we match up well. I thought we matched up better with New England.

Buffalo is weak against the run, but bring better pressure than New England. They also have a better defensive secondary than New England.

JP Losman isn't going to break any records or make anyone's eyes pop out, but he isn't making big mistakes so far. Brady may be able to win a game for the Patriots, but he also threw an interception that helped swing momentum.

I don't like this game. I don't like it one bit.

Buffalo and the Jets are similarly good. Unlike you guys, I'm not afraid of their pass defense. Chad threw for 300 yards in back to back games, which is awesome no matter who you're playing. I can't believe that the Buffalo defense is going to cause that much more trouble than New England. Plus, hopefully we have momentum from last week and can maybe use that to get a decent running game. Doubt it, but maybe.

Now the run defense will be a major issue. McGahee always kills us, and they will be sure to feed him all the time. If we can hold him to less than 4 yards a carry, and we can get off the field on 3rd downs every once in a while, we can definitely beat Buffalo.

    Agreed,

We definitely need some pentration and need to stop McGahee. Our secondary will have no problem holding down Losman, if we can shut down the run and force Losman to throw, we have a good shot at breaking the game wide open.

    Keys to the game:

    Offense -
    1. Hate to say this, but Buffalo's D matches up pretty well against us. They don't have the best running defense and they have a pretty good pass rush. The key to beating this will be the short/rhythm passing game. Lots of 3-step drop and slant.
    2. Run some freakin' draws off the short passing game. I don't understand why we don't run these. That extra moment of deception is critical to a runner like Barlow whose strength is vision.
    3. Add some extra protection on passing downs. They are going to blitz and blitz and blitz. Coles and Crotchery will get open, we just need to protect Chad.

    Defense -
    1. Contain the run. We have to make Losman beat us. McGahee will get lots of yards if we don't stuff the middle and contain the outside. 8 in the box or even 9 won't be too bad.
    2. Get a pass-rush on obvious passing downs. Bring 6 every passing down. We need to rattle Losman early and get him off his rhythm. An early turnover could be all that's needed to win this game.

I see a close game with the Jets winning in the final minutes.

furthermore, since Buffalo's D gets up the field so quickly, we need to counter with some screens, which we haven't done much of thus far. in other words, keep them honest in their pass-rush. as several people have mentioned, draws will work to the same effect.

as far as Defense goes, Losman is good for a few deep plays per game. fortunately, we don't need to worry about getting beat deep since our CB's (especially Barrett) give so much cushion. if we can stall drives by getting 3rd down stops, we should be OK.

    cheers

Without a running game were fu*ked. Takeo spikes will spell trouble for our dismal running game.

Our defense needs to get their act together quickly. If they can't beat losman and McGahee then they aren't gonna stop anyone. Im hoping Pennington can expose the young secondary, but with the bills front line, and our weak Oline, im not expecting another 300yd game. I think we have good chances, but buffalo is always tough.
