Leon Washington was our best pick

He's another Lamont Jordon but with a little bit more natural abilty. I know he gets hurt a lot, but anybody can get hurt. If he had any kind of OL at FSU this man would had been in the top 3 of RB.

Well...I like the Clemens pick more but this is a close second.

Though Im a bit curious as to where to Lamont Jordan comparisons are coming from...

Too small to be another LaMont, but he has talent.

He was good pick in the 4th rd.

hopefully his injuries are in the past

Don't think he's anything like Jordan. I think Houston reminds me more of Jordan. I do like the pick though

I was really suprised we passed on LenDale, he reminds me a lot of LaMont. I guess not picking him led to us getting Clemens though.

Leon's an excellent pick-up in Rd 4........ IMO, Mangold and Clemens will be the most sucessful Jets

You're right, he better be.....for the price we are going to pay for him. I just like Mangold's and Clemen's upside better.

Just look at the way they both run, yes Jordan maybe a little bit more stronger. A alot of people have to realize when Jordan came out the knock on him was he got injuried a lot and Jordan ran behind a ten times better OL then Washington.

Yah unless you have really watched Leon over the years then you don't know how good he is. Houston can't hold Leon's jock!

from what ive seen from houston so far i would agree. Leon has natural a bility to find holes, if not he slips right by people with insane burst. and isnt scared of contact so dont think hes some sort of scatback.

BUT Houston did show good progress as he saw the ball more and I would say being as big as him does help when ur getting hit by 250lb LB's.

i think the main point is Leon does have a future here, and im not saying screw all the other RB's but he will be here longer than Blaylock, any of the UDFA's, and most likely Houston. unless they decide to officially go by comittee as their actual gameplan.

    yeah

i really liked his view on curtis martin, the rest doesnt surprise me cuz he has the potential to do more than what will be expected of him at this point. hes just a hard worker who does whatever it takes to win. for someone his size people will be surprised to see he has a pretty relentless running style.
