I just saw it on Sportscenter but their talkin about the Jets trading with Atlanta for Schuab. I would love to get Leinart though especially the fact that he wants to play here.
*sigh*. Very rarely will you find a player that refuses to be on a team. I think he's just happy he's not going to New Orleans.
i think we have to trade up for im if it takes that much i mean he could be great in this league I think.
I've been thinking about it lately. I have a weird feeling about him, but he is probably the best qb in the draft. But I really don't want to spend so many picks to get him.
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/story/399856p-338810c.html Here's a link. Let the whacking begin.
The jets are on a mission to get as many picks as possible, for something no one knows what, it can be anything, i just hope its worth it.
It might be smart if you guys draft him...It might not be... 1) You will probally have to trade up to #2 to get him...the Titans will probally take him at #3 2) Chad Pennington is good when he's healthy...but that's not very often 3) You guys need help at other positions...trade up 2 spots to get a QB (thus getting rid of some draft picks) may not be smart
But if you get it right and get a QB who could be the once in a lifetime QB then it wont matter if you have as many holes
yes but... Who's he gonna throw to? Who's gonna pound the ball and take the pressure off of him? (Im not saying Curtis Martin is bad...Im just saying he's getting older and didnt exactly have his usual season last year. You guys should take an RB with one of the picks you get for Abraham...With the Cards signing James and Baltimore maybe re-signing Lewis and Minnesota signing Chester Taylor the 3 projected 1st round RB's are gonna fall...where you will be waiting with open arms) Who's gonna block for him?
 he would just be on a list of players the jets had passed on through the years, that have been succesful. I really dont like leinarts arm strength but that does not mean i dont like him as a player. Its true he has been in usc with several good players that helped him get the job done. But when you enter the nfl any team you go to the majority of the players would be good. So thats not an excuse. He will be a good QB, i just want a QB with a stronger arm, that would spread out defenses more. But if we get him, instead of ramsey i wont be upset.
