Here's a few testimonials. PLEASE post commments:

    CAREER SUMMARY:

71 TD & 15 INT - Are you kidding me!!!!!

As an added bonus, Leinart is left-handed, which means he uses both sides of his brain.

How can any Jets fan not want this guy????

I thought everyone uses both parts in some fashion, but one side is more dominant...for right handed people, the left side more dominant, for left handed people the right side is more dominant... At least thats the way it is taught in most of the western world and non 3rd world countries..

    Ellis

PS... for the record I don't want "this guy" for a mutlitude of reasons... I'll have to list them later... I have some work to do.

So if we doubt his abilities and his potential as an NFL passer, we should read some ass kissing stories about what a great guy he is?

HAHAHAHA youve managed to make me smile at work

    WOW O BRIEN!!!!!!!!

are you that surprised that not everyone thinks he will be a great player? everyone has their critics. you were doing backflips over rumor mills about him wanting to play here and when you heard a few doubters you go out and scour the net for every praise you can find. i think you left out the Alaskan Daily

HIS COLLEGE STATS MEAN NOTHING. Sorry buddy, the Pac-10's defenses are a joke and USC had an offense that was on a NFL level. He'll be the equivalent of the herman edwards press debacles in NY. guarantee it.

According to one of the local papers (I'm not sure which), the Jets have Vince Young ranked three out of the top 3. Man, that Wonderlic will wipe you out.

He was smart enough to beat Pete Carroll.

I am OK with Leinart. I had doubts, but if we do draft him, as long as he is groomed for a year (maybe get some playing time in December 2006 - depending), I am fine with that. I think that will work out regardless of who we bring in.

Drafting and starting the guy out of the box this fall would be asking way too much..........JMO.

Unfortunately, I only have access to a very narrow portion of my mind when it comes to the Jets QB situation

We can only hope that the Jets "Brain Trust" will use more than half their wits addressing the QB situation.

I cut out the guy and the chick, that basically said, he's cool I want to blow him, and what we have left, is Chad Pennington. Mediocre Arm, Great smarts, great intangibles.

Neither guy can take getting knocked around, and in the NFL thats bad. I love Penny, but I'd draft a guy that has taken some licks, has a better arm, and put up similar production, without Len Dale White, Reggie Bush, Pete Carrol, and Norm Chow.
