Guys like him don't belong in the league.

But chances are the Colts will sign him.

This guy should get help for himself before he completely throws away his chance to be a very good NFL RB (which he has the ability to do), if he hasn't blown it already...

Colts should take Tate if he gets to them. Ravens may go for either or both also.

Colts should take Tate and Blount both, they just put Bradshaw on IR leaving them with Richardson and who?

Richardson combined with the Colts OL could end their season with 150 more rushing yards over the final 6 games if they're lucky and probably be historically bad. Both are cheap and have been productive before this season, Blount has had 2 above average seasons but wasn't given a chance in Pitt because Bell is just playing that good, his attitude got him off the team. Tate has always been a good second fiddle but CLE is going with the younger guys who are both showing more right now.

Blount leading the way mixed with Tate has potential to be at least an average backfield for Indy.

All that said, they need to fall to Indy first, and Indy is somewhere in the back-middle of the waiver order I believe.

not a big surprise. this guy has been an issue every single place he has been ever since he allowed himself to punch that guy from boise st in the side of the head.

he will be broke in 4 years. its a goddamn shame but it happens entirely too often.

    ....and he clears waivers.

    So much for that contract.

Will he get signed to a practice squad? Or is it the unemployment line?

    Vikings take Tate.

I'm fairly certain that Blount has played in about twice as many games as he'd need to be eligible for a PS spot, maybe even more than that.

Yes, even under the current rules which gave a little more flexibility he lost his practice squad eligibility after the 2011 season.

Too bad for Irsay. Lost his chance to use the phrase, "You holding?" in the Colts' locker room.

Hopefully Blount leaves the meathead stuff behind like he did during his last stay.

^this signing says Patriot management is concerned about a game against the Steelers.

Who knows if the Steelers are gonna get to the playoffs. They haven't been very good except for two weeks this year and only have the 6 seed right now because they've played one game more than the other teams in their division.

No, it means the Pats only have two reliable backs o the roster right now. Blount actually ran well in for the Steelers when he got the oportunity. He's just a wingnut who became a distraction there.

Two years at veteran minimum and can dump him if he acts up. Probably worth itfor the Pats. BB kept him in check last year.

If you don't think Bill is looking at the playoffs already you are a fool. If you don't think he considers the Steelers a legitimate playoff threat you are a liar.

Bill wants to know what information can be had from Blount. That's it. It's a typical BB move. Win at all cost.

Inmates continue to run the asylum.

Tough to root for players these days when its proof that you could do whatever you want with one team , face no real consequence and then go to another contender 2 days later.

Blount should've been ruled ineligible for the rest of the season.

How does this not make other players with as much or more talent than Blount , who are unhappy in their current roles , not go out there and do the same thing?
