I was bored, so I thought I'd go look at a few team message boards. Found this post on the ESPN.com Chiefs board. Funny as hell.. http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=nfl&id=kan&tid=1453547&lid=1 0-2 start doesn't mean anything. Here's example why Yes we all no the Chiefs started 0-2 but that doesnt always mean we will fail. Get this. I was playing Gears of War today on Xbox live. We were going against a mighty host team who had played together for a long time. Our team on the other hand was very young and hadn't really had time to gel. We lost our first 2 rounds, showing little offense and putting up only 3 points combined in the first round. Sound familiar? However, we then went on a nice tear of winning close rounds. Not a single one of us showed great skills but it was our toughness and resilience that kept us in every round,We would lose the occasional round afterwards but eventually won the game and finished with a 10-6 record. What do you think of that, sports fans?
 If Herm was the leader of the team on Gears of War, time management would be a problem. Instead of going out and fighting the opposition, Herm would have his team camp around their spawn until time ran out and it was just too late.
YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME...HELLO?? YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME PS just watching that Hard Knocks on HBO i knew they were gonna be a shitty team
IF KC continues to be as bad as they've been the 1st 2 weeks old Herm might be begging his pal Tony for a job scrubbing toilets in Indy.
I was more interested in the NYJ-BAL and MIN-DET games, but did manage to flip over to the KC-CHI game on two occasions. I only saw two plays live. One was the Kansas City touchdown. That was rare, very rare. I may never see one of those things again this season. Not live, anyway. That's too much to ask.
I still can't believe anyone ever compares Herm and Tony. Somehow, I can't picture Tony going: "YOU BEST READ THAT SIGN THAT SAYS HOT! IT GOTTA SAY HOT! I WANT THEM DONUTS HOT!" My brother in law played for both of them in Tampa. He loves them both. He was shocked and dismayed when Herm first became a head coach. That's how bad it was.
