It was his back he did not look good. It was all downhill without him. So Jenkins goes so goes the defense. Woohooo.
Jenkins proves how bad the Jets need to draft a legitimate NT. As a backup, an insurance policy, and our NT of the future. The difference with and without him is enormous.
BJ Raji out of Boston College... I think the Jets might in a perfect position to draft him either in the middle 1st or 2nd round.
absolutely, our d-line was getting pushed around and we had zero pressure on passing downs without him. Hopefully it wasn't serious.
Pouha is garbage. If the Jets are going to go without Jenkins any extended period of time they need to run a hybrid 3-4/4-3. Pouha just won't get the job done.
Yeah he's a backup. What do you expect, for somebody we drafted to actually step up and make plays when a starter goes down?
I was hoping he'd cure cancer while defeating the single game sack record to be honest. Oh well, maybe next time.
I still find it hard to believe that the loss of one person had such an impact on the defense overall. I know he's been near the top in tackle and that surprised me for an NT. I just hope he's back next week. This D crumbled without him.
I'd say he has a better chance of curing ball-sac cancer than of breaking any football-related records.
The run defense did anyway. It is still possible for a pass rush to succeed if you actually attempt to rush the passer.
The 3-4 defense without a nose tackle is like a flaccid penis during intercourse. You know its supposed to have a purpose, but when you try to perform it's useless.
