This is a historically bad team because it’s rotten on all possible levels

from the owners, to the stadium, to the field turf, to the management, to the scouts, to the players, to the medical staff, to the coaches, to the head coach

it will go down in the history books and yet another permanent stain on my fandom

I turned the tv on to catch the end of the game, and they had stats of the 2 0-16 teams and the Jets... the Jets were worse in every category by a bit.

Add insult to injury we have fans that want a complete tank, get upset if the game is close, but at the same time bitch about our record afterwards. Sad state of affairs from top to bottom.

To be clear the Goose Egg record is to be expected in order to win the Draft

My other expectation is a New Coach

OK say Jets get the #1 pick and everything works out honky dory with the top pick. How about the other 15-20 positions they need help with? Allowing a professional team to reach these depths is almost criminal.

If they burn this team down the only player left standing might be our punter!

I got to say. We showed some fight in this game. Last game too. I’m liking how the players aren’t completely shutting down

Jets will have tons of cap space and lots of "quality" draft picks the next 2 years. This abortion of a team can be turned around quickly if the money is spent wisely. That spend will be JD's legacy more so than drafting Trevor should they secure the #1 pick. Root against Seattle as much as possible.

I can’t believe how much hand checking they allowed today. They molested mims off the line.

if I had to point to an improvement needed it seems Mims did not get off the line when pressed- the backs jammed the hell out of him.. but a few games with long bombs will back those DB’s up a bit...

Good News! Most Jets fans would rather have the #1 pick every year than win the Super Bowl! The best way for them to appease their fans is to never win another game!

I read that we officially got eliminated from the playoffs today. What a damn shame.

    You're overdoing the exaggeration.

But if you want to cheer on 8 wins a season and go nowhere, cheer away.

I'd rather this shit franchise tanked intentionally or unintentionally as long as they fix the thing up for a 10 year stretch of excitement and the way your sport sets the rules up the best way to get better players is to be shite for 2-3 years.

The only thing is we are that dumb that they couldn't even lose properly and now here we are shorn of talent across the board and probably going to take 2-3 drafts AGAIN to try and put right.

    Here's hoping though, right?
