Congrats to former NYJET inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. I think the guy could still play. He was 1 of the best 1st round draft picks this team has had in awhile. He came to play and offered charasmatic energy doing it.
He insulted Wayne Chrebet and many caring and sharing Chrebet fans labeled him a trouble maker and loser. Id take Keyshawn Johnson on my team any day of the week. COME ON MAN

This team hasn't had a WR the caliber of Keyshawn ever since he left. Congrats Key!

No offense to Wayne Chrebet but i'd take Keyshawn over him anyday.

Keyshawn was a great Jet. I never wanted to see him go.

    Congrats Keyshawn.

I loved Keyshawn. More than Chrebet. Hated to see him go.

Maybe he will win a Pulitzer Prize next for his book.

    Or Humanitarian of the Year.

Talented WR but one hell of a putz if you ask me.....

    #80 in our hearts!!!

Am I the only one who thinks Keyshawn was too slow to be the impact player he kept saying he was? Big, physical, good hands, but slow.

he was not an elite WR.... he did lack the elite speed. But he was tall, physical and had great hands. He is a cut below elite, but still very good. He was a better WR than Chrebet, but would never overtake him in my order of most beloved jets.

Keyshawn is well deserved of acclaim. He was great in CA and great in NY. Plus he's so damn gansta.

Pretty much an overrated WR. he was good but never as good as he thought he was. Not as good as Maynard, Walker, Toon, Chrebet or Caster in my book.

WOW! And here I thought I was the only Jets fan in the world who liked Keyshawn!

KJ was a great player for the Jets and should have won a Super Bowl here and not in Tampa Bay. I never cared that he feuded with guys like Chrebet or O'Donnell because he usually backed up what he said by performing on the field. And I don't think Wayne C. was ever bothered by KJ all that much. And the way Bill Parcells enjoyed Keyshawn showed that Johnson was a good football player. Parcells knows his stuff.

    The Jets need another Keyshawn!

If Irvin is in the NFL Hall of Fame, then so should Key.

Best Jet since the Namath era.

I dislike Keyshawn intensely as a person but he was certainly a very good player.

^ Irvin was clutch in the playoffs and helped the Cowboys win 3 superbowls in 4 years. He deserves to be in the Hall. He deserves it much more than Keyshawn.

the best thing about key was how he blocked downfield, he was the great downfield blocker before hines ward made it "cool" the guy could block so much better than 90% of the receivers in the league. and that is what made me understand keyshawn... i truly enjoyed his play and his game and what he brought to the team. i never wanted to see him leave and never or will have any ill will towards him.
