I really wasnt blown away with his signing but he has been important to the team. He keeps a steady avg going down the field and then gets really productive once the jets are in the red zone. Just a strong runner, he looks determined and he already has 4 touchdown's this year.

The guy is averaging less than 3.0 yds per carry and has been on a steady decline since his '03 thousand yard rushing year. Even the bottomfeeder backs in the NFL can do better than that.

I don't like Barlow at all but he has done good when we get down by the goal line.

Barlow shoud not be thii teams starter. Period. He can contribute, but I think it's time to switch it up again.

Barlow is simply a place holder for the rookie coming in next year...I'm guessing washington will get more play very soon

Is it me - or does it seem like the line is doing a better job of blocking for Houston? I don't see Barlow hesitating to pick a hole - there just isn't a hole to run through. When Houston is in there the line seems much more focused and determined. If I am right Barlow needs to do something to gain the confidence of his linemen.

houston and washington were running MUCH better than barlow. barlow was very effective in the goaline though. It was great, whenever barlow was in, ppl starting yelling "WE WANT HOUSTON!".

Barlow reminds me of Corey Dillon last year - useless other than the fact he scores EVERY WEEK.

I'd love to see Houston (barring injury) get the bulk of the carries. But in Barlow's defense, it seems like he has a guy on him as soon as he touches the ball (unless near goaline).

Either way, the run looks like shite. Let's hope houston isn't badly injured and gets more carries.
