Jets could look to add competition for PK Folk June 02, 2010 - by Dan Parr The Jets' roster is short on glaring holes, but placekicker could turn out to be a major headache for the club if Nick Folk can't regain the form that led him to the Pro Bowl after the 2007 season. The team had been planning on holding a competition at kicker after allowing Jay Feely to depart in free agency. The job is firmly in Folk's hands at the moment, however. First-year player Clint Stitser was signed earlier this offseason to battle Folk for the job, but he performed poorly in OTAs and was waived May 27. Folk, who was released by the Cowboys late last season after making 18-of-28 field-goal attempts, has had some shaky practices, too, and is still working to get his confidence back after unraveling in '09. The Jets haven't added another kicker since parting with Stitser, but they may do so before training camp. > http://www.profootballweekly.com/2010/06/02/jets-could-look-to-add-competition-for-pk-folk
