I think that Justin Miller should be given the opportunity next season to be the number 2 corner opposite Darrelle Revis. Do you guys think Justin Miller can be the Jets number 2 corner? Or shall the Jets look for a number 2 corner? I think David Barrett is a better backup than starter. Andre Dyson has been a disappointment and should move on. What do you guys think?

He showed flashes in TC but then didn't really flourish as the #2, in fact I think that Mangini sat him from time to time after stupid plays.

I'm all for giving the guy a shot, but am also tired of hearing the "It take 18 years for a CB to develop argument"- as Revis and others have shown us, if you're good, in alot of cases it doesn't take that nearly that long to show.

This is his last year for me. Right now, he's an overpaid kick returner and nothing more.

Also, I hope that he's spent the last few months reflecting on how not to be a moron when on the football field.

Don't go thinking now that every CB develops that fast, Revis is an exception.

I don't think he is a good enough corner. I was never impressed with him and I think we should look else where.

Lest you all forget, Dyson was our BEST corner last year. I have absolutely no idea what the hell has been wrong with him this year, but I hope it has been some kind of nagging injury that will heal over the offseason. Last year's Dyson coupled with a 2nd year Revis would be one of the best CB tandems in the league.

Speaking of Revis, Leon Hall stinks.

I think the problem with Miller is that he's a jackass of epic proportions. I can't believe Mangini keeps him around, the only thing I can think of is that he has tremendous physical ability and Mangini thinks he can change his ways. Otherwise I don't see why he would bother.

I sure hope he does pan out, I would love to see a CB tandem of Miller and Revis.

That being said, if he continues to show these 'flashes' everyone keeps mentioning, it shouldn't be long into 08 before we know how capable this guy will be. With his tangibles, he can be fantastic if he puts the mental part of his game in check.

I guess I've had a bad taste in my mouth ever since we heard Miller and Ty Law had to be seated separately because they were both cutting up too much in the classroom. Law is a documented jerkoff, but since I heard that stuff I began paying a lot of attention to Miller not only between the whistles, but after them. And he was always the one to get into a player's face after every play talking smack, at times drawing a flag for it. As well as PI flags for never actually playing the ball, just the man. I assumed he was a punk and it sounded like it was confirmed during the whole fiasco with that intern for Obama. (something for which he probably still faces some suspension time - running from the police)

I always wanted to see him actually put it together on the field in live play to justify the punk behavior, but so far all we have is one decent training camp leading up to a season ending injury. He's been given a chance to challenge for the starting spot and failed in 06, I'm not so sure the trade-up for Revis wasn't a confirmation of my doubts.

alot of times what we thought were stupid plays this year were said to be beause of his injury. Im gonna go as far out to say that we will not be drafting a cb this year. we have alot of prospects for who can play cb for us and because of that we arent going to be spending a first day pick on a cb

I was just saying this to my friend the other day. I remember after the Jets picked Revis in the draft, I was hoping that we didn't miss the boat on Hall. Obviously, Tanenbaum knows what he's doing (on draft day, at least).

I'm hoping that Revis is our #2 corner next year, opposite of Asante Samuel!
