They can have him. I haven't been this disappointed in someone since johnny mitchell. I was really psyched when we drafted him a few years ago, but he has done not met my expectations.
He wasn't even that great of a stopgap last year. No love lost when he walks out the door. Our OL depth is already herendous, him officially walking just puts another check on our draft day clipboard.
Norm Katnip Has played all positions on the O line, we could really use Norm now. I think Cimini has penciled him as our starting center but maybe we could use his enormous talents at guard.
The guy was our backup center going into the season and when he got his chance to play he hiked a fumble. Good riddance.
Please remind me who the hell our starting center will be.... please dont tell me kendall will resume that role
um, Kendall was a Center before he came to the JETS and He did an adequate job jumping in when he needed to. Yes, He blew a few assignments but I can guarantee, with a full pre-season/mini camp that isn't going to happen
OK, I guess what Im really asking is, what that the intention when tangini resigned himand let KM go, or was he to anchor some other spot on the o-line
Starting Center is Katnip Havent you heard, Norm Katnip will make us all forget about Mawae, or even THE POSSIBILITY OF NICK Mangold.Katnip came higly recommended by another all pro SCOTT GRAGG and Pulitzer prize winning journalist RICH CIMINI. Ably supported by a few jet fans on this board.
Kendall has the flexability to be a guard or center. Plus, he's younger. I am guessing it will depend on what we do in FA or the draft. Whatever happens there will deterrmine where Kendall plays.
It just seemed to me that in repeated interviews and comments he made last season, he wasnt ever very comfortable at center, though he gave it all his effort and didnt complain
Why are you so down on Katnik? Have you ever seen him play? I'm sure the answer is no, so maybe you should wait to see what he can do before dogging him. I for one do not think there is anyway that Kendall will be our starting center this year. He will play guard and possibly backup at the center position, JMHO....
It's because all he wants to do is talk about Abraham. Forget trying to talk about someone who has been said to possibly be our starting Center next year.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out, he was a waste of space, backups arent always high quality thats why they are backups but they should at least make the most of their chances
