No... I think Saleh does not care about Joe Judge's tough guy approach. Saleh is going to be concerned in being the best version of himself for the New York Jets and their fans.
From everything I been watching and seeing they say he shows emotion, but has a very calm demeanor about him and knows how to lead without having to say or do much yelling
Yes, I’m sure he’s going to completely change who he is as a person and coach, which got him the job, to emulate a coach that went 6-10. This is truly a stupid question to ask. Why would he? The Giants were a bad 6-10 team whose tiny bits of success were exaggerated because they had the good fortune to play in a division that a losing team could win. If Washington had run away with the division at 11-5 and the Giants would have been eliminated from the playoffs by week 10 nobody would have been singing the praises of Judge this season.
Judge is a clown. That approach just doesn’t work without a body of work to support it. I don’t think he will last long.
Considering how ecstatic Giants fans seem to have been at 5-9 he may have a very long leash as he hovers around that record year in and year our. The Judge praise this season was mind boggling.
It's like everything else about the Giants - their shit don't stink, ever. I get it...compared to this clusterfuck organization, their shit does smell like perfume, but they've always been the favorite team in the NY area.
All I wanted to hear from the pundits was some honesty — this is not a good team that is fortunate to be in the playoff race. Instead we got how great they were simply on the basis that they were in the playoff race, ignoring the context of that race. And the Seattle win was tremendously exaggerated. Bad teams beat good teams every year, it doesn’t make you not a bad team when you do so.
I just like how Judge came in there and ran a tight ship. Making guys run laps, strapping tennis balls to DB hands. That to me is great coaching.
I don't think Saleh needs to look to anyone and copy that. He needs to be himself which I have no doubt he will be. Saleh is widely respected by every player and coach he comes in contact with. He's a natural leader which is one of the many reasons this hire was a grand slam
I agree that the Giants and how they can do no wrong bothers me. I will say they do play hard for Judge though. I saw a few of their games early in the season when we were worried about them competing with us for the #1 pick and they had very little talent but always showed up and competed.
It's easy to forget that from the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s they were definitely the #2 team in town. Two things started that (Y.A. Tittle suddenly getting old and Joe Willie coming to the Jets), and two things ended it (Parcells taking over the Giants and the Jets drafting Ken O'Brien instead of Dan Marino), and we're still wandering in the wilderness 35 years later. Biblically speaking, we still have 5 more years to go, but maybe Saleh can beat Moses' record.
Shut this shit down Yesterday I ripped an idiot for caring what others think of Jet fans Now I wish that idiot was here to rip you and I would gladly watch it
