If this Zach shows up it is a no-brainer.

A sack is worse than an incomplete pass. I go with Wilson.

I went with Wilson simply because Flacco is done. IMHO

If anyone votes for Flacco they should seriously be checked into an institution. The guy sucks.

Zach Wilson doesn’t fumble the instant he’s touched. However, if Wilson isn’t ready to play, he shouldn’t be a backup.

    Chris Streveler QB2 Szn

The FO has an intriguing off season ahead. This coming offseason can push the Jets over the top of the right moves are made. We know there are several in-house FA decisions to be made, the OL needs some tinkering, and another piece or two needs to be added to the defense. But what about QB?? Wilson obviously stays - I don’t think they’re ready to cut bait with him but next year could be his last shot. White is a FA but they probably resign him. Flacco will be released. Do they expect Streveler to stick around as the 3rd QB? I’m guessing they go out and bring another QB in via FA to put into the mix …but probably more a back up type.

Flacco cannot even drop back fast enough to avoid the pass rush. Zach has to be the back up rest of season.

I know I'm swimming against the tide, but here's the problem I see with activating Wilson as QB2: he has issues that he has to fix before he sees the field again. We all saw those problems: poor mechanics/accuracy; not seeing the field well; and happy feet.

He won't fix those issues by sitting on the bench for a few weeks. It will take a lot of hours and sweat in the off-season and during training camp. Until he puts in that work, there's no point in throwing him into the fire of an NFL game. If anything, that might shake his confidence and retard his progress even more. Therefore, keep him inactive because it's perhaps the only way to protect his long-term development.

For QB2, it's a choice between Steveler (a completely unknown quantity) and Flacco (a washed-up statue). The dilemma becomes more acute because the way White stands in there and takes hits, it's difficult to see him staying upright for the rest of the season.

This shouldn't even be a question if based purely on the ability to run an effective offense. But if Zach remains in street clothes and Flacco remains the backup, that will speak volumes about the off field punishment being dealt out to Zach.

Wow ..it’s almost like choosing between a Rock and a Hard Place because they both are bad but in much different ways!

Zach: Spoiled prima Donna attitude, poor football skills for a 2nd round pick>> that includes mechanics and decision making

    Joe>>old slow and fumbles . Ugh…Has a mature attitude that’s it

If the Team winning and that’s the bottom line don’t you want a Third option at this pointCC?

I say bring in Strevelor for a shot or a FA

TBH Zach had 20 starts and only one 300 yard game. Take a look at how Trevor Lawrence is playing…it’s a shame ZW not panning out atm

Is he being punished? Really? He is an investment the team made and it looks like he isn’t NFL ready . Kid should understand that

Strevelor, whats the point keeping a 4th QB on the practise squad if you won't use him when needed like any other position ie Bam

What an exciting choice. Practically every rookie QB that's played this season is better than either guy.

I agree totally with this. I think Flacco is done. Since the Jets are trying to make the playoffs, he can't be QB2. It very well could be that Wilson is unplayable due to a combination of mechanics, confidence, attitude & maybe emotional state. If that's the case, it has to be Streveler. No good choice.
