Not a bad addition in August.

The downside... this probably means Mims’s injury is more serious than just missing a few days.

Smith has a core muscle injury, Mims has a hamstring injury, neither of those just go away. Hogan missed half the season last year, Perriman’s biggest issue has been his health. We could easily be looking at WR1 Jeff Smith at some point this season.

Douglas has been great, but his neglect of the WR position is killer. Becton over Lamb. Morgan over any of the WRs that were there. Those two things might haunt us for years.

This group makes Gates and Nelson look like Fitz and Boldin.

Chris Hogan is not a big deal, but it is nice when Sam can get some experience with veteran WR's who won the Super Bowl like Thomas last year and Hogan this year. Decent signing.

I’m not interested until we reach out to Greg Salas

It is finally time for the Jets to make a splash and sign Clowney. David Clowney, that is!

If this doesn't show that WR must be a high priority in next year's draft....

Becton was absolutely the right call. Morgan ? Meh, if we’re sitting here in 3 years lamenting the missed 4th round selection chances are things are worse than hitting on a fourth would have fixed.
It’s week 1 of training camp, going to hold off on the panic button just yet.
Would like to hear why DT was passed over for Hogan though. I thought for sure he was the first stand by.

I agree that JD should definitely have drafted another WR, but I would have still taken Morgan and not drafted Lamichal Perine.

It is a 1st round priority for me and if not that then a 2nd and a 3rd in successive picks.

But I do believe it is time for a true WR1 to get the Jets call.
