the jets will move jones to left guard.the offensive line will look like this.
    fergerson-l.t
    jones-l.g.
    mangold-c
    moore-r.g.
    clements-r.t.
i could be wrong, but this lineup makes sense to me.unless the jets will sign another free agent offensive lineman.

it might work on madden, but seriously jones doesnt have the size or skills to play guard. A guard should be a great run blocker, especially the guard next to D'Brick, who has some run blocking issues, and Jones is and was born to be a tackle.

Is there a chance that Kendall gets cut before June 1? He is making a lot of money and Teague could play LG. I'm not saying move Jones to LG, b/c he should definitely play RT. But, is there a chance this happens?

Going into the draft the Jets had about $12M in cap space. They will only need approximately $5 to sign the rookies. They have enough money to keep everyone on their roster and still make a splash FA signing. There's no way Kendall is going anywhere... he would've been cut a long time ago if this were going to happen. Also, the Jets would've drafted another G. Anthony Clement is NOT a starter at the T position.

We extended Kendalls contract,so the answer is no. Why would we get rid of Kendall anyway? He's a pro bowl type player, kids....

Hey, I wasn't positive...don't call me a kid haha. I knew he was making a bunch of money and getting older, but I'm very happy to have him stay.

Jones is moving back to right tackle as the starter there.

    Indeed it should.

And our line should look like...

    LT-D'Brick
    LG-Kendall
    C-Mangold
    RG-Moore
    RT-Jones

Clement comes in late in the game to bruise up the already tired D and when we need a big run push. Teague can play all over the line. I like that signing more and more. Speaking of more, Morley is also decent depth.

With our new bruiser of a FB, that line looks pretty good. Not great, but good. Once the rooks get into the grove, watch out.

    No way

Kendall doesn't sit. We need his experience and smarts in the game.
