At least two teams -- the Ravens and the Jets -- are keeping a close eye on the Eagles' wide receiver situation. The Eagles have an excess of wealth there right now. There's a good chance they'll deal one of their wide receivers -- perhaps Reggie Brown -- before the final roster cutdown.

Bah. The Philly receivers are mediocre. Don't even waste a draft pick on one of them.

can we just keep our draft picks for next season, It would be really nice just for once to go into a draft and have a good number of picks.
None of the Eagles leftovers are tempting enough for me and I'm with German, lets give Clowney and our other guys a shot.

In a word, no. If we don't use them on a WR we will trade up in the draft next year to take a DE or DT instead. That's how they like to operate and the team is much better now then when they were keeping all of those picks and drafting people they cut later anyway. Now they can get their "depth" off the waiver wire.

Give them a 7th or nothing. The article says there is no place for him anyway which I guess means he will cut.

A huge waste....the likelihood of Sanchez repeating the rookies QB of last year is incredibly slim. Wasting future picks just sells our future to sell PSL next year.

No way should we trade a draft pick for one of their receivers. Not the answer. Save the draft picks for '10.

The chances of a 1st round draft pick we get next year making it to the probowl one time is slim, two times in a row even less.

Trade the pick for a proven probowl player with 100+ catches the last two season, hell yes!

Plus we will pay next years pick a lot of garranteed money which in likelyhood they would not ever warrant.

Reggie Brown is better then Brad Smith and more proven the Clowney. The prob with a guy like brown is it forces us to carry 6 wrs. Only if he is cheap

Playing Clowney over a guy like Brown is why Sanchez is the starter and not Clemens. Brown has been in the league about 5 years and never produced. What makes you think he will produce now??? And it's not like he didn't have chances. How do you know what you have in Clowney if he doesn't play? He may turn out to be a good receiver and he certainly has upside. Brown is what he is- a 3rd or 4th receiver or even a 5th receiver.

if they want a 6th rounder fine. Anything more and the Jets are getting robbed.

the Jets have been linked to everyone this year. I don't believe anything until it happens.

I agree with NDmick, we were "under the radar" looking at every receiver out there this year.. But we definitely need someone, Cotchery is not going to cut it as our #1.
