The Jets are among the NFL teams that are beginning to pull coaches and scouts off the road, from any pro days, workouts, and the like.

Jets had been operating business as usual as recently as yesterday, while monitoring the COVID-19 situation. But they have now joined several other NFL teams to pull personnel from scheduled trips to Pro Days and workouts. https://twitter.com/mmehtanydn/status/1238135989207474181 …

The coronavirus pandemic is beginning to take its effect on the NFL. Some teams are also considering shutting down their facilities, which would obviously have an effect on the free agency period that is scheduled to begin on Monday.

As of right now, there are no plans for the new league year — set to begin next Wednesday — to be moved.

NFL said it has "no plans to move the start of the league year."

It is likely that most, if not all, teams will follow suit with the Jets and other teams that have already made these decisions. April’s NFL Draft in Las Vegas may also see changes.

Rapid changes have been brought down across the sports world over the past 24 hours. It is anybody’s guess how long these adjustments will carry on for, how many more are to come, and how drastic things may get.

Hey! Given how badly the Jets have identified talent, maybe this is a blessing in disguise!
