The Jets are expected move Woody to right guard and plug in either Robert Turner or Wayne Hunter at right tackle. ---From the link posted above Huh? Who? What?
those backups better be gems at RT.... it just doesn't make any sense. Why not draft a kid with mound of potential? Turner and Hunter never impressed me. This better work out or he better come back.
this is the first bad move of the new regime, IMO.....I wish the starting oline could've stayed intact.
Well duh. what did you expect them to say? We plan to go find the best FA available, and failing that, we will draft one? Yeah cuz they're gonna say that....
Didn't Woody struggle at RG during the latter years of his career in Detroit? Then again, who doesn't struggle in their years at Detroit?
Why are we moving Woody to RG when he struggled there? I mean he was moved to RT because he had issues at RG is that not the case? I really don't like this move one bit.
Better question: How many PSL's will Ray Lewis sell? ...because that's the main reason he'll become a New York Jet.
I like what I've seen from Turner, but as a guard not a tackle. If he slides in there and Woody stays at tackle I think we could be ok, just no depth. If they are really serious about moving Woody inside, I've got to believe they have somebody else in mind for tackle.
