Hopefully most of the speculation will be dignified by midnight. The suspense is killing me!

This is good to hear. Hopefully this translates into tougher training camps this year. Tired of hearing about how soft the TCs tend to be, and then seeing the players look completely out of shape for the first month of the season.

The old Jets' regime sometimes received criticism for making contract decisions based on sympathy and sentimentality, but with this move, Mangini and GM Mike Tannenbaum made it clear those days are over. Sentimentality isn't how Bill Belichick won three Super Bowls in his first four seasons with the Patriots.

Fanfuckintastic statement. Exactly what hermy did.............

Lets wait 4 the draft to judge them but so far im digging the whole approach by our regime. They have a calculated plan and have a plan a b or c if something does not fall into place

Are we going to re-sign Goodwin? I always thought he was a good back up.

We should, because we would have 0 interior backups if we don't.

We should resign him hes a solid backup and good depth. I like what Manigini and Tannenbaum are doing so far its a good way to start by cleaning the house.

Camp marshmellow and the loyalties is what killed us year after year after year. Bad contracts bassed on 1 half decent normal season also destroyed this franchise cap wise and age wise. I like this about Mangini and if we get 10-12 picks go with youth movement, go 4-12 and get bad complaints from players saying camp is too tough, it'll remind me of when the Pats first hired Bill Billchectken year one. They (Pats) went on to win 3 SB out of 5. I'll take this over win now anyday.
