watching the jets against the bills last sunday.it looked like the jets got old all at once.fitzpatrick showed that he cannot pass successfully on windy days.that was one of the reasons the bills released him when he played for them. headwise he is a very good q.b. but he does not have the arm strength to succeed in nasty weather. I am hoping that Bryce petty turns out to be the jets starting q.b. he has the arm strength and accuracy to be successful in those conditions.
Did the Jets look old or just Fitzpatrick? You only talk about Fitzpatrick. And yes, he is old, he doesn't have the strongest arm, and he's an average QB who has good days and bad days. The Jets have looked slow at LB for years now. Revis looking like he was playing at three quarters speed near the end of the season added to the general effect. There's no question the team needs to get faster and younger.
