if we acquired "The Burner" Turner, I'd be smiling ear to ear. He's not only 5 ft 10, 237. but he runs a 4.42. fumbled the ball twice in over 500 carries in college.

which reminds me, no way do i see them dealing out Turner. after having to rely on an insurance policy at QB i doubt they giver theres away at RB.

he was a 5th rd pick, a complete steal. i wonder what theyd command for him even if they were listening to the Jets FO.

Yeah...if we are going to trade for any RB right now, I want it to be Michael "The Burner" Turner. Young and Explosive.

actually hes the only back I would take at this point. otherwise I'd just wait to the draft so we can see what we even have with the 3 rbs on the roster now.

Not gonna happen. MAYBE if we offer Strait and one of our second rounders for next years draft.

If we offer them Houston and a number 2 I think that would be more than adequate (for turner). They get a high pick to add to their talented team and decent backup to team with sproles behind Tomlinson. They dont need a starter on the bench that gets them nothing (see lamnot jordon)

I like the idea of offering Houston, He is a fine back up!

Don't be so free with the second rounder. I say a forth or if all else fails a 3rd rounder. This is still a steal for SD they got this guy in the fifth round!

doesnt matter, if were this desperate they can hold him for ransom. plus everyone knows hes 1st rd talent now so the fact that he was a steal in the 5th for them means nothing to the chargers, if we want him we'll have to pay.

Turner only has a year left on his contract, I believe. That drives the asking price down... no way he's anywhere near worth a first round pick! That is just crazy talk. They also have Chatman... he's a decent backup.

Jesse Chatman's gone. I don't think he even played in the league last year.

Holy sh*t give it up buddy. He's a white boy from Canada just because he lit up the pathetic Canadian universities doesn't mean he's the next Barry Sanders....

He won't do anything in the NFL.

Yeah, you're right.... Chatman was on the N.O. roster last year.... looks like he's an FA now.

Why do we need another RB? If Curtis can't go, that's fine, we have 3 quality backs, use them!
