http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12552901/ A+ New York Jets The Jets did not give into temptation and passed on a quarterback at No. 4. They rebuilt their offensive line with the draft's two best offensive linemen. Ferguson should boost the offense, while Mangold, picked at No. 24, should replace departed Kevin Mawae. Along with free agent veteran Trey Teague, New York has done a tremendous job bolstering its offensive line in just one offseason. Then they came back and got solid value with Oregon quarterback Kellen Clemens, Ohio State linebacker Anthony Schlegel and Michigan State safety Eric Smith, who was rising up most draft boards in the last few weeks. You couldn't ask for more than this if you're a Jets fan.
If this guy gave us a D this thread would be at 30 replies. Don't agree with the grade but we did do well yesterday. Nice to be getting some good press for a change, even if it means little past draft weekend if these guys don't pan out.
Prisco gave us a D- for our first pick, B+ for second then again no one is more consistant at being a jackass than prisco
I'm happy with the picks in the first two rounds...we'll see how the rest pans out. So far I would rate a "B+" grade.
Mangold was not picked at #24. Hard to listen to an article, even though it sounds OK, when they can't get that right.
