With their loss to the Eagles yesterday, a big issue coming up is how quiet Giants Stadium is for Giants home games..and takes away the true home field advantage. Mike Francesa made a point the Giants home games are one of the quietest in the league, where as Jets games are one of the loudest, when things are going good anyways. They went on and on but I thought it was cool that Jets fans are thought of as being more behind their team at home games and being very loud and supporting their team, the Giants have 3 rings and more history but Jets fans are loyal and are always there for the Green & White.....:jets:
Im not a GIANTS hater but yesterdays loss is a good thing. Im sick and tired of seeing everyone in GIANTS gear gloating...........ITS OVER...
Jets fans were uncharacteristically loud this year. They had reason to right up until the very end... valiant effort by the fans and their voices, but the team... well... you know...
Our J-E-T-S chant must make our players' spines tingle and give them goosebumps. I never been to a quiet Jets game. Well, maybe Miami was a little EH.
The two loudest games in the history of Smurfs Stadium were Jets games. The Packer game in 2002 and next weeks Colts playoffs game.
even the dolphins game was loud until the very end. It was veryt impressive considering everyone was on life support
I always wonder that... actually i always wonder what its like when a team we never play comes to town and hearas it. does it throw them off their game at all?
Only game I've ever gone to was Rams game this year......Very loud especially as team headed to locker room up 40-0.....Man, how long ago that feels!
Ive never been to a game in the Meadowlands, so if its true that we are one of the loudest stadiums, I never want to hear anyone complain about lack of noise at the games again...
its always the people that DONT go to the stadium that talk about how nobody is loud, we leave early, never in for kickoff. so i say those people save up $80 from now until septemeber and do something about it by showing up yourself.
I go to every home game that I'm able to attend (season tickets, but I'm away at school for most of the season), and I have to say those 3 things are true for a great deal of the people there.
I've been to 4 Jets games in my lifetime, including the 06 Oakland game. I've been to 2 Giants games, the 9/11 game against Arizona and the one against KC where Tiki Barber broke the single game rushing record for the Giants. The Giants have better fans, and its a lot more fun to be in the stadium with them instead of my own brethren. The Jets suck.
loudest game i experienced this season (went to all home games) was buffalo - this clip brings back some good memories of how intense we can be when we try (which is not always the case...): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap-OHFuojjE
I've never been to a game so obviously I don't have good perspective but on broadcast TV Jet games always seem so quiet.
