Here's a two part question for everyone. As the draft approaches it reminds me of my earlier years when as most Jet fans did we lived or died with our pick because the draft was our SB. What first round Jet pick will make you jump in the air pet your wife and kiss your dog. On the other hand what player will cause you to go to the E.R. with your foot stuck in the screen of your 42 inch Plasma TV. My picks would be Chris Long for the good pick and Ryan for the bad one. What are your choices?

    Good - McFadden
    Bad - Brandon Albert

I love Albert as a prospect, not for the Jets at 6 though, I would hate either of the CBs at 6 too.

Kick the wife, punch the dog: McFadden
Kiss the wife, pet the dog: Gholston/Long
Bang the wife, walk the dog: Trade down and get a bunch of picks.

Chris long is clearly the feel good pick... but as the pick that would drive me up a wall, there are a few... I am not a Mcfadden fan, and would be upset by the pick, but understanding. I wouldnt be happy about a CB either, because I think it is a big reach and last years top cb Revis went at 14, not 6 and he is likely to be much better than either of the top cbs this year. I would despise Harvey at 6 i don't think he is #6 material. Rivers wouldnt make me too unhappy. Sweed I love him dearly but at #6 he is a reach, if we could slide down to 10-15 then he is great value.

My happiest draft is a trade down Sweed in round 1, and with our 2 number 2's get Lofton, and kenny Phillips. Who for some odd reason has a chance to fall into the early second, don't ask me why, he just seems to be falling.

nightmare: two top picks are still on the board at #6.

we get one, ne gets the other.

the guy we pick is a bust, but the guy ne picks has a probowl career and terrorizes us for the next 10 years.

    GOOD: DMC, or Gholston

BAD: Not trading with Baltimore if those 2 guys are gone to get more picks if Matt Ryan is still available.

If we get chris long i will be doing backflips over my dog. If we pick a CB i will bury my wife in the hole they dug that sox jersey out of in Yankee stadium.

For the record i dont have a dog or a wife....

    Gholston-Happy
    Dmac-Cautiously optomistic
    Jake Long-I'll take it
    Chris Long-Overrated
Matt Ryan-Disgusted unless I hear an announcement Chad was traded to Kc for a 4th rd pick or better.
Dorsey-Pissed to get Drob pt 2
Cb-If we get screwed and have to make the pick I will take it
Trade down-With Dallas for 2 number 1's I will be very happy.
