C Dalton Freeman OT James Brewer WR DeVier Posey WR TJ Graham WR Salim Hakim TE Matt LaCosse CB Keith Lewis WR Austin Hill WR Jonathon Rumph LB Bryan Johnson CB Javier Arenas CB Curtis Brown CB Dashaun Phillips
Not surprised about Freeman. Early in camp I would have been, but Wesley Johnson has clearly outplayed Freeman.
Not surprised with anyone so far. Never liked Posey being tossed in the draft day deal and I'd rather have Evans or Powell on the PS than both him and Graham.
I'm surprised about Posey, he's had a really nice pre-season. I think if we weren't vested in Kerley there is a chance he might have stuck.
The Posey one is weird, especially considering that he was released before guys like Rumph and Austin Hill. Plus him and Petty built great chemistry, I really hope this was just a move to make sure we can stash him on the practice squad. Right now I guess is a better time to cut somebody with all the teams at full capacity, trying to get rid of players instead of picking up more players. But who knows. Would like to see him back.
Two more cuts. C Dalton Freeman & CB Keith Lewis. Freeman is kind of a surprise. Capable backup Center but I didn't really expect him to stick around. Wesley Johnson looked pretty solid as our #2 Center last night and he can play multiple spots.
With their waivers of Rumph, Graham, Posey and Hakim, the only WRs on the Jets roster are: Marshall, Decker, Kerley, Owusu, Evans, Smith, Enunwa & Powell. They'll probably carry 7 so the last to be cut will probably be decided after Thursday's game.
They cut hakim?? Damn! I thought he had a spot for special teams at least. I think evans will get cut and idk why but i have a feeling they will try to trade kerley
Gotta be Evans. Every other wide out has proved to bring something different to the table. I'd cut Cumberland and make Enunwa a TE. Cumberland blows anyway. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
