Its on the Bills message board pinned: http://boards.buffalobills.com/show...orts-Jets-DC-Dennis-Thurman-coming-to-Buffalo (Off-topic, but Buffalo is also keeping Jim Schwartz as DC and getting Greg Roman as OC: http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?505996-Reports-Bills-are-keeping-Schwartz-as-DC http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?505926-Reports-Greg-Roman-will-be-OC) [Thanks also for the likes "Brooklyn" and "NotSatoshiNakamato", which allowed me to post links.]
Don't let the door hit them on the way out. We got a new sheriff in town potentially. The name is Quinn.
That's fine. They can have all of Rex's old staff as far as I'm concerned. I can't imagine that the new HC, be it Quinn, Kubiak or whoever, was going to retain anyone from Rex's staff.
This will all work out in true jet fashion... Bills might as well sign sanchez now so I can watch him turn into pro bowl qb. Lol fucking jets
Would Buffalo really replace Pepper Johnson with Dunbar? Unless the Giants hire Johnson as their new DC, that's a big downgrade. Pepper's done a really good job as the Bills DLine coach. Gladly take him over for the Jets if he isn't kept by Buffalo.
yea, because rex was waiting to go to buffalo before unleashing the pro bowl in mark sanchez gtfo with this whoa is me bullshit.
they should do their best to retain Dunbar. He is among the very best in the league at what he does, and the players have a good working relationship with him. unfortunately, it probably won't happen tho. by waiting for Quinn (which is a good move), these coaches will take the sure thing and sign in advance.
Who cares? To be honest, I'd rather have the defensive guru behind Seattle on the sidelines than Rex Ryan's guys.
L0ok. Bringing in a new staff is to our advantage. Surprised if Schwartz stays unless Rex is ceding to him most of the authority on defense. If he is it's a smart move by him and maybe he learned a lesson with the Jets. But could be the Bills insisted that Schwartz stay as DC. Not sure if Schwartz has a say on this if he's under contract to the Bills.
so by your logic, i guess you aren't too high on Quinn, as he coached the most talented D in the league. Dunbar was great here, as well as Minnesota. One of the best DL coaches in the league, and he would represent some consistency for our best unit. It will be a loss.
