I don't know about you guys, but I'm not in love with our logo. I think the layout of the cap is cool, but I wish we had the Jets logo that's on the helmet. I won't be getting one of these....unless someone in the family gets it for me.
How do actually get to go to the draft? Serious question. Do you get tickets? Stand on a line? I think that going to the draft would be fun as hell.
you have to buy tickets. Back in the day (mid-90s) you could walk up the day of the draft and get in. These days it might be more difficult. Have you tried calling the Radio City Box Office? I think thats where its being held now.
Actually, you don't have to buy tickets- you simply need to land some, gratis. The hitch though is that normally folks who went to both Day 1 AND Day 2 last year get some sort of priority, where they receive tickets to go this year. Everyone else, including the mopes who show up on the day of, wait in line on a "space available" basis for tickets. Here's the kicker, you have to get there early, VERY early, if you don't have tickets by virtue of attending last year. A friend of mine went a couple of years ago as he is a big Raiders fan and was pumped that they were drafting Gallery- he arrived at 5:30 AM and STILL did not make it in- the line was that long. Plan ahead and arrive very, very early. Also keep in mind that with the pace of Round 1 you are going to be bored out of your skull by the time Pick 25 rolls around. At least when watching it at home you can keep yourself otherwise occupied.
would be way too expencive with the shipping and the Taxes. I ordered with a few buddies at Eastbay.com a few weeks ago, so i?m pretty set right now. But Thanks.
I have bought the last two draft day caps and loved them but I don't like this one at all... dissapointed.
I too have last year's cap that I wear quite a bit, but it's the "NYJets" on the cap I don't like. I think the helmet logo is better looking... I'm quite surprised that most on this thread actually like the look of this year's cap...
Last year was my first year, and this is how it worked. You had to come midnight to radio city music hall and get a bracelet to guarantee a spot. I dont know if there going to do it again. As bad as waiting on line till midnight sounds, it actually was pretty hilarious w/ the fans on line. The news of Mario Williams signing w/ the Texans broke. There must of been over 50 Jets fans on line chanting Reggie-Reggie. So many other small events happened.
^ that would suck. As for the hat, I like it. Although these new flex hats are way to tight for my fat head....
