    he had a knee injury just got back to practice , but he has experience in the 3-4 from houston .

    Deloach (6-2, 324) joined the 49ers the day training camp opened. He spent time with Washington and Houston during his five NFL seasons. He suffered a knee sprain early in camp and did not return to work until this past week.

    I don't know this guy in particular, BUT if we used your logic, why would we have ever signed Pete Kendall? Why would Cincy have signed Jeff Blake back in the day? Why would Indy have signed Unitas? (He was cut by Pittsburgh when they BLEW).

    You can't use that logic alone. Now I do not know much at all about the player, so maybe we do not want him, but let's hear some real reasons why.

    fair point...

    DeLoach is versatile, can play all DL positions, and has experience in the 3-4, however he is 29 y/o and could not make the 49ers team.

    But their busts had nothign to do with them being cut by another team. Heck, Hatchette was a trade if I remember.

    Jets would be wise to hold off til the final cuts have been made. They will have the fourth pick of the litter. Some gem will turn up.
