56 years and counting guys!! And 25 years of dismal Woody J ownership ...disgraceful there has been no turn around for this Franchise

I am not sure if this thread gets much attention or traction

But let all you newbie Jet Fans or even "veteran " Fans from1980s have that awful piece of Jets history sink in

I was a kid in High School in late 1960s and then Joe N was and will always be my Hero ...A Winner!!

It won't be long before Woody will have owned the team for the majority of it's existence. Feels like just yesterday that Belichick stuffed his face in a dog turd for the first time.

I will truly cherish this day forever. Joe Willie was our hero, our way to throw the bird at the stuffy NFL. The AFL was a viewer’s delight, lots of offense and points. Joe wore white shoes while everyone else had black.

Darkness arrived when Woody bought the team. Sure we had some good years. Those are now in distant history. Until this fool sells, or dies, we are in constant purgatory. Also unfortunately his greed will never subside, so it would be the latter.

My prayers are for all the Jets fans that have never had a SB win. I commend each one of you for your loyalty and passion. Let’s hope and pray we can all experience that feeling once again. Godspeed.

I was at the Jets/Raiders AFL Championship game with my late Father. Within that year the Knicks, Mets and the Jets all became first time national champions. Quite a time. to be a NY fan.

What would the NFL look like today, if the Jets had not defeated the Colts?
Possibly no merger? Maybe some teams don’t even exist today?
