Dude has been a hammer, a bull, a rock....Now he looks like he has lost something in himself.

How do you run 23 times and only gain 28 yards? or 15 rushes, 18 yards last week?

He reminded me of the good old Thomas Jones, who was a hammer, a bull, a rock yet would always run the routes that lead him to 5 guys swarming him or he drops quick.

I just hope Ivory is just going through a few bad games and his o-line is making it tough for him. Right now, for us to be a playoff team we need Ivory to gain 100+ yards.

Offensive line can't make the holes.

Spoke too soon with how good they look

I'll point it to Mangold being out for most of those two games...then the Johnson/Colon and or Winters duo not helping matters.

The oline looks good when colon and mangold are playing, when Johnson and winters are in there, jets need to forget about the game plan, those 2 guys are atrocious. There is a huge drop off, we as fans should not expect the same production with backups.

Combination of Oline not being able to open holes and Ivory not being a feature back. And... No change of pace back

Today wasn't his fault but for the past two weeks he's looked out of steam. Today he looked back to his old self but the backup offensive lineman were terrible today on top of the fact we refused to run left which made absolutely no sense.

predictable play-calling, no Mangold, strong run D's, its a combination of factors.

Ivory's still Ivory, but the circumstances that gave him such a piping hot start are missing.

I don't think anyone outside of barry sanders could have had success on the ground for us today

    1st down play-call for a run is a given

Offensive Line did a shitty job blocking for him today

I don't have any game tape or anything but I bet if you go back and watch his runs on about half of them there was a defender on him behind or right at the LOS. No RB is going to have success running the ball of the OLine is blocking that way

I'd be more concerned with the OL than with Ivory. They havent been winning the battle at the point of attack in the last three weeks. It is likely because guys are banged up like Colon and Mangold.

The screen pass where he almost scored shows Ivory still has his burst. I like the fact that they keep trying with him and when it doesnt work still try to get him to the second level by passing to him.

    Where is Ridley?

When you are getting hit in the backfield every time, there's only so much you can do.

The o-line has been pretty iffy on rushing plays the whole season.

He's getting hit in the backfield by 2-3-4 guys at once, there's nothing he can do. Early in the season he was able to get back to the line of scrimmage, read his blocks, make a cut and bounce it outside or find the hole in the middle. But now he just gets stuffed each time, it's not on him. He already called them out a couple days ago, telling them to step their game up. Obviously those bums didn't listen.

Also, once again no Ridley. I don't get it.

Maybe thats why Bowles was looking forward to having Colon back.

1st and 10 HB dive literally every time. The playcalling is getting really predictable on 1st down and that hurts Ivory a ton.

The Mangold injury along with the possibility of teams figuring out our offense are concerns.

With that being said, Ivory's recent performance has been very frustrating even though he too has been dinged up.

    What is happening with Ridley?

If we had a serious 1-2 punch Ivory would need less carries and could play closer to 100% more of the time.

If we'd sign Ray Rice it would help...guy cant carry the ball 30 times a game and we have a pile of shit behind him

I'm not discourage about our running game. A lot of Ivory's 1-3 yard games cam close to breaking open. Our o-line is banged up, teams are stocking the box and calling a lot of run blitzes. I think we'll get back on track.
